Drawing, Painting, Printmaking

Working mainly in print Marion often uses ideas based on biological and geological subjects, reinterpreted in a humorous and ironic way, evoking uneasy Science Fiction imagery. Currently she is making prints using images of the machinery in Kendal’s remaining snuff factory. Awarded an MA in Contemporary Arts Practice at Cumbria University in 2000 she has developed her printing practice to include both relief and etching methods.
