In my studio, you will find oils, watercolour, acrylic, pastel and charcoal. Landscapes, horses and domestic objects form the greater part of my work. You will also find small scale sculptures and reliefs that I make with ‘found’ objects – wire, textiles and various tactile items. I am particularly influenced by the shapes, textures and effects made by the line of the North Pennines. I teach in Adult Education, and deliver workshops and demonstrations to schools, art groups and conferences.

Drive into Milburn, which is signposted from Kirkby Thore (7 miles from Penrith off the A66). Turn up the village green. Almost immediately, turn right in front of some goalposts. You will see a red telephone box and a postbox. The five bar gate is Mid Green Farm. Please close the gate after you!
