My name is Amanda and art has always been a passion of mine. I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember and studied Art to A level.
I take inspiration from pop art and abstract art and my work shows my love of bright colours. My work is vibrant and the colours I use are more vivid than real life which compliments my slightly cartoon style. I paint on a large scale and focus on the faces of animals trying to capture their character and personality. Cows are a favourite subject of mine and their inquisitive nature means they are more than happy to pose for my camera!
The aim of my art is to put a smile on people’s faces and with my trademark large painting of Moo, I do this everywhere I go. I have put my own designs on various products like cushions, mugs and coasters which offer a functional alternative to hung artwork. It is important to me to support British businesses and as such I ensure all products are manufactured in the UK.
