I am an artist and designer. Originally, I trained and worked as an architect in Edinburgh and London, specialising in light, colour and space. I have been working as an artist for over twenty five years and have work in private collections around the world. Most of my work is commissioned, however I do exhibit from time to time.
Drawings, paintings and prints.
Sculptures and installations for inside and out.
Glass painted panels for sculptures and buildings.
Art resonating with our past.
I work throughout the UK and have a life-long relationship with the Lake District & west coast of Scotland. I am passionate about art’s ability to bring people together, so I also work with communities and other groups to create exciting art that combines heritage with a contemporary twist and forward-facing vision. I have recently worked with 10 museums and gallery sites along the length of Hadrian’s Wall, creating art with different communities, as part of the international Hadrian’s Cavalry project. I have also just completed 21 glass-painted windows as part of a large inter-generational project in Manchester.
