An exhibition of work by UK and International artists inspired by the theme of light, at The Old Courthouse, Shap
The Highlights Contemporary Craft Tour exhibition, finalist for Best Exhibition in the Cumbria Life Culture awards 2017, continues to show inspiring and challenging work. In 2017 we are celebrating LIGHT, that elusive life-giving element with Luminosity an exciting exhibition of contemporary works by artists and makers from the UK and abroad including glass, film and projection, electronics, paper, sculpture and installation. Iranian artist Statira Jazayeri from Sweden will be running sculptural weaving workshops working with local children, young people and adults exploring her use of metal threads and open weave techniques.
